TIMES Distinguished Service Award

2024 Awardee(s)

Purpose of the Award

The TIMES Distinguished Service Award recognizes individuals who have made significant service contributions to the Technology, Innovation Management, and Entrepreneurship Section (TIMES) of INFORMS. This award primarily honors two groups:

1.      Departing board members and officers, particularly outgoing past chairs, for their dedication and leadership

2.      Members who have demonstrated outstanding service contributions to advancing the section's goals and initiatives

The selection process involves nomination by the current chair to the board, who then determines whether to accept or decline the nomination(s). The award, which was reinstated in 2024 after being discontinued in 2019, serves to acknowledge and celebrate those who have helped strengthen and grow the TIMES community through their service.
